I’ve been a ski instructor since 1996 working in Austria.

For the first five years I was almost exclusively teaching beginners, which gave me a huge amount of pleasure, but I was regularly frustrated by the fact that most guests were under prepared for the experience of learning to ski. I came to expect that all too familiar look of total bewilderment on the faces of my students arriving for the first day of class.

I want to help you to make the most of your first ski holiday by telling you what it is that you’re going to be doing in advance, rather than you spending a week finding out.
