'Further to our receipt of your video I would just like to let you know that the family thought the video,
informative, entertaining and very helpful. We are mixed bunch of 8 levels from expert to just about
to become a beginner and we all learned something from your video. We liked your down to earth approach.

VERDICT: A no-nonsonse checklist on how to prepare and make the most of your first ski trip.
This DVD provides a step-by-step handy guide for snowsport virgins. It is very useful for anyone going on their first holiday, including those you're trying to persuade to come away with you - It'll save you being plagued with countless questions. Presented by Andrew Day, who has been an instructor since 1996, the DVD fills in all the blanks on subjects such as which resort to go toand when, what clothing to take, how ski-school works and how to beat the natural fear of slopes. - DMS&S

Dear Andrew
Well we finally got to watch your DVD last night and my feedback is WOW.
It was clear and concise and your voice and elocution made it extremely comfortable to listen to all the advice you were able to give.
Unfortunately we had our 1st ski holiday last year and would have definitely benefited from knowing about your DVD before we went, having said that I know we will still benefit from having watched it.

Have enjoyed watching the DVD, going on holiday next week and certainly watching DVD has given us some useful information and more confidence. We are now looking forward to the experience!

Yes it's an excellent film. Goes through the 'ordeal' of the 1st time very well. I bought it for my brother and some of his mates (1st timers) who are going with us regulars to Meribel in Jan. Wish we had seen the dvd before our 1st ski trip.
In fact some of the tips I'll remember for this yrs trip.
Interesting section about lessons, my brother was going to have 3/4 lessons on the dry before he went, but has decided not to after you advice. Ski school over there will teach him. Hope it goes ok.
Any more ski films in the pipeline?
Many thanks

I haven't watched it the whole way through yet, but have found it very helpful so far. I went on a ski holiday last year for the first time and had a pretty bad experience because of a nasty French ski instructor and problems with my ski boots. However, if I'd seen this DVD prior to going I might have been a bit more prepared. I feel
challenged to go and do better next time!!
Thanks

I found it very informative thanks…as a girl I was, I have to admit, more interested in what to wear, how much etc as opposed to what I was likely to be taught in my first week, so the first part of the DVD was brilliant regarding layering, temperatures & also evening events.
I hadn’t any thoughts beforehand about what we were to be taught or what I was likely to achieve and have to admit to switching off slightly towards the end of your publication regarding the aspect of snow ploughs & turns.
However, on arrival of course it was in fact quite useful & it was a ‘familiar reference point.
So all in all, to me well worth the money.
Thank you, J Beale - South Croydon, Surrey
We have thoroughly enjoyed your DVD and intend watching it a couple more times before we take to the slopes in January.
We have found it extremely helpful indeed.
